Departing London Heathrow with Singapore Airlines you will arrive in Christchurch on the South Island and spend a night at the Sudima Hotel, located close to the airport and motorhome depot.

Situated on the banks of the River Avon, the garden city of Christchurch is the ideal place to relax and unwind after your flight before starting your road trip adventure of a lifetime.

You will collect your Britz Venturer two-berth motorhome the following morning for 15 days rental. It comes equipped with its own shower, toilet, kitchen facilities and all-inclusive insurance with a zero excess. (A one way drop-off fee of $150NZ is payable locally at the commencements of the hire).

Over the next 15 days, your journey of exploration is yours to create as you travel. The beauty of a motorhome holiday is the total freedom and flexibility that it provides.

Head south towards the adrenaline capital of the world, Queenstown, or the stunning Fiordland National Park before heading up the west coast to take in the glaciers of Franz Josef and Fox Glacier.


North lie the beautiful wine regions of Marlborough Sounds and Blenheim and an opportunity to kayak through the glorious waters of Abel Tasman National Park.

When you are ready, take your motorhome aboard the Interislander Ferry and travel across the Cook Strait from Picton to Wellington – one of the world’s most stunning ferry routes.

From the capital city of Wellington your North Island adventure begins.


For Lord Of The Rings fans, a visit to the Weta Workshop is a must!


You could follow the Classic New Zealand Wine Trail to the art deco town of Napier and the pretty vineyards of Hawkes Bay or head north to check out the geothermal pools and Maori culture of Rotorua and the stunning Cathedral Cove on the Coromandel Peninsula.


Round the trip off by making your way to the northern tip of the country and the spectacular natural beauty of the Bay of Islands, where a dolphin watching cruise may appeal or a visit to the Waitangi Treaty grounds to find some time to unwind on one of the many beautiful beaches.

Return to Auckland where you will spend your final night at the central Skycity Hotel. Be sure to enjoy a tasty meal in one of the city’s many outstanding restaurants, perhaps on the waterfront overlooking Waitemata Habour.

The trip concludes the following morning, heading back towards the airport to drop off your motorhome before boarding your return flight.
