We had a fantastic time on The Blue Danube Cruise for our special wedding anniversary. It lived up to our expectations, despite the awful weather.
Unfortunately, it rained non-stop every day of the journey through Hungary, Slovakia and Austria, so we just bought Pac-a-Macs and got on with it. And, of course, there was always the onboard bar.
The MS Thomas Hardy was wonderful - very luxurious - and the service was first class.
The excursions were well thought out, informative and the guides were brilliant – it's an active holiday and hopefully the walking kept some of the weight at bay from the excellent food.
When we got back to Budapest for our three-night stay at the Budapest Courtyard by Marriott, the weather changed, and I even managed to get sunburnt.
I wanted to thank you for your hard work in sorting it all out for us and taking all the stress away from trying to organise it ourselves - we will be sure to call on you again.
